FAQ

  • Thank you so much for your interest in our bartending services! Prior to receiving an estimate from us, you will need a confirmed event date and venue. Once you submit a request with these details, we will review your inquiry and be in touch with an estimate within a week. If you are interested in moving forward with booking, a signed contract and deposit are required to secure your date.

  • Yes, CHEERS! by Corey requires a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your event date.

  • Unfortunately we are unable to offer cocktail tastings due to NC ABC laws, but we are happy to provide recipes for any drinks you’d like to try out!

  • The North Carolina ABC Commission laws prevent us from purchasing or procuring the alcohol for you. You are welcome to purchase beer and wine from any store of your choosing (liquor is only sold at NC ABC Stores in North Carolina). We work with a vendor, Metro Wines, who can create a custom beer and wine order (at fair market prices) and deliver your order (kegs included) to your event for a minimal fee.   • We will supply you with a customized liquor calculator to help you at the liquor store! Here is some more info on NC liquor transporting policies.

  • In order to serve hard alcohol at your event, you must procure a Limited Special Occasion Permit from the NC ABC Commission. As per NC laws, this must be obtained for every event where there is liquor served, even if we are batching cocktails for the event. Please note that the application can take a few weeks to complete. More information about the permit and link to the application can be found here. CHEERS! By Corey can not serve liquor without a Limited Special Occasion Permit.

  • We require a minimum of 1 bartender per 50 people. In some cases depending on the logistics of your event, we may require additional bartenders/ support staff in order to provide a successful bar event.

  • Absolutely. We carry full general liability and liquor liability insurance.

  • CHEERS! By Corey will travel up to 45 miles outside of Asheville. Any events outside of that radius will incur a travel fee.

  • Glassware is not included in our base packages, but we are happy to manage your glassware rentals for you for a 25% management fee, or we can add on disposable cups for the entire event to your estimate.

  • We do not currently provide staffing - only services. Our packages include ice (if needed), cocktail napkins, bar tools, bar signage (if needed), liquor liability insurance, and more. When you book with CHEERS! By Corey, we take time to make sure that you have everything you need for a successful bartending event.

  • Let us take care of the details! We will provide all of the mixers and garnishes needed for your event.
